Hi, I’m Rae. I’m a Sydney-based photographer drawn to the unpolished moments. The sideways glances, the belly laughs and the beautiful chaos that makes each story yours. I’m not here for perfect, I’m here for honest. The in-between moments are where the magic is, and that’s what I love to capture.
Whether you’re in the thick of toddler chaos, waiting for baby to arrive, or simply wanting to freeze time with the people (or pets) you love most, I’m here for it. Not every family has the same shape, style or story, and that’s exactly what makes this work so special to me.
I’ve learned that the most meaningful photos aren’t the posed ones and instead they’re the ones where you look at yourself and think, yeah, that’s really us. That only happens when you feel comfortable enough to show up as you are - and that’s my job!

Maternity
Whether it’s toes in the sand or the calm of your own home, your maternity session is a celebration of motherhood. A collection of images honouring your strength and beauty. You’ll want to reflect back on this fleeting time in your life for years to come.
Growing a whole new person is nothing short of extraordinary and these photos are a reminder that even on the tired, longer days, you were powerful, radiant and doing the most incredible thing of all.
Newborn
These sessions are calm and gentle. I document the raw, the real and the fresh details that are the newborn phase. From the tiny fingers curled around yours, to the first snuggles with their older siblings, I capture the details that fade far too quickly. Your gallery captures a fleeting chapter so that in years to come you can remember how it all began.
Long after the sleepless nights pass, you’ll want to feel the weight of them in your arms again, hear those newborn sounds, and be reminded of where your story together started.
Family
Family sessions are so much fun! Often a little wild, always full of love. The experience is just as memorable as the images themselves - with movement, connection and real emotion. Being together allows the magic to unfold naturally.
There are no stiff poses, and definitely no strict rules for kids. I’ll gently guide where needed, although I’m mostly there to capture the in between laughter, cuddles, chaos and laughter. The best photos aren’t the perfectly captured ones, they’re the ones that feel like you.
